2019 was a very busy and exciting year for Amped Software! We set up a new business entity in the USA and have an entirely new team there. We launched Amped Replay, a new product for investigators. Amped USA
Quite a big and important change happened in February. We established a new business entity and a new team in the USA to better serve our customers in North America. The new business entity is called Amped Software USA Inc. and is based in Brooklyn, New York, and is a fully owned subsidiary of Amped SRL, the Italian headquarters. Our goal is to now work more closely with our customers in the USA and Canada and to offer them the level of professionalism and consistency that we at Amped Software have tried to foster throughout the world. So, for all software sales and training in North America, please remember to contact us through the new business entity above.
Amped FIVE Update 12727
In February we also released Amped FIVE 12727 which included Timeline, Multiview, HEIC support and more. Read more about this update here and watch the video to see the new features in action.
Amped DVRConv Update 12801
We also released Amped DVRConv 12801 with support for more new formats, format variants and timestamps. Read more here.
Amped Replay
In March we launched our newest product Amped Replay, an enhanced video player designed specifically for police investigators to reduce delays in investigations and cut down backlogs in the video units. With this new tool, investigators can:
- Quickly convert and play videos from proprietary CCTV/DVR formats, body worn, dash cam, mobile phones, covert video, drones, and social media
- Quickly and easily export still images and video clips
- Generate a scientific report that is easy to understand
- Redact and annotate images to send to another unit or to the media for identification or public appeals

Amped FIVE Update 13609
In June we released another update to Amped FIVE, Update 13609, which introduced the Copy and Verify tool and more updated features. Read more about this update here and watch the video.
Amped Authenticate Update 13901
In July we released Amped Authenticate 13901, introducing Projects and Report, PRNU with Multiple Reference Cameras, improved Social Media Identification, and more. Read about the changes here and watch Amped Authenticate in action.
Amped DVRConv Update 13785
We also updated Amped DVRConv to version 13785 to include new Output Conversion and Frame Rate options, support for more new formats and format variants. Read more here and watch the video.
Fast Growing Technology Company for Second Year
Amped Software was once again recognized as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), ranking for the second year on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500. The program is an objective industry ranking that recognizes the fastest-growing technology companies in EMEA during the past four years and includes regional rankings for North America, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA.
Amped Replay Update 14312
With just a few months after the launch of Amped Replay, we released the first update with some great new features. Amped Replay Update 14312 includes redaction tracking, Smooth Playback and more. But it won’t stop there, we have more plans to improve Amped Replay in 2020, so stay tuned! Learn about the latest features here.
Amped User Days
After the first successful Amped User Day in Europe, held in Bled, Slovenia last year, on October 6, 2019, we had our first Amped User Day in North America in Denver, Colorado. It was wonderful to meet our users. We had many fun moments and valuable discussions!
