Trieste, Italy, 09 April, 2015 – Amped Software, a leading provider of innovative technology for the analysis, enhancement and authentication of images and videos for forensic, security and investigative applications, today announced that it will present two seminars on 21 and 22 April at this year’s Forensics Europe Expo. Amped Software will discuss how to verify if an image and video is an unaltered original or has been tampered with as well as teach analysts how to improve their image and video analysis workflow in order to get the best results for presentation of the digital video evidence in the courtroom.

“We are very focused on developing the most innovative and easy-to-use solutions for any image and video processing need related to security and investigations. We continually listen to our customers and adapt and update our solutions in order to meet their evolving needs in digital image and video forensics, “ said Martino Jerian, Founder and CEO of Amped Software. “We look forward to Forensics Europe Expo again this year to meet customers, introduce some of our product development plans, and to teach forensic investigators how they can successfully enhance and authenticate their image and video evidence.”

The annual event will be held in London, UK, on 21-22 April in the Upper West Hall of the Olympia London conference center, co-located with the Counter Terror Expo. The event is the only premier dedicated international forum for the entire forensic investigation sector and supply chain. 2014 was a huge success and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better with over 100 global exhibitors, educational sessions, training and networking events.

Amped Software’s seminar, titled “Productive Forensic Video Analysis: Converting DVR Videos, Enhancing Images and Preparing a Report for the Courtroom with Amped FIVE” will take place at the Seminar Theatre on Tuesday, 21 April from 09:55 – 10:20.

Presented by Martino Jerian, Founder and CEO of Amped Software, the seminar will reveal the truth about image and video analysis and provide a summary of all steps needed to get evidence out of the source (typically a digital video recorder), extract parts of interest, properly enhance them, take measurements, and prepare the results for presentation in the courtroom. This session will teach analysts how to improve their workflow by using the software Amped FIVE, which is being used daily by top government forensic labs worldwide.

The second session, also presented by Martino Jerian, titled “New Frontiers in Image and Video Tampering Detection and Camera Ballistics” will take place at the Seminar Theatre on Wednesday, 22 April from 11:35 – 12:00.

This session will focus on the growing demand for authenticating images and videos in the forensic landscape. This workshop will demonstrate the current tools available in Amped Authenticate, the leading software for forensic image authentication, and the new revolutionary image and video authentication tools being developed as part of the project MAVEN, funded by the European Union, which will be implemented into the Amped Authenticate software.

Visitors can also drop by stand 1-D21 to meet the Amped Software team and for a personalized demo.
