Meet us at Digital Experience 2013

Reading time: < 1 min

We are proud to announce that next week we’ll be present at Digital Experience 2013, the biggest conference for digital investigation professionals in the Netherlands.

The conference, organized by our Dutch partner Data Expert, will be held at the Hotel Houten, nearby the center of Utrecht, Netherlands, on October 2nd.

We’ll present two workshops:

Forensic Video Analysis with Amped Five: enhancement of images and videos during investigations.

The session will introduce the audience to the complex theme of forensic video analysis and enhancement. The lesson will be based  on the evaluation of around 10 different cases which range from CCTV restoration, latent fingerprint enhancement and measurements of subjects done directly on the crime scene photos.

Forensic Photo Analysis with Amped Authenticate: originality, manipulations and camera ballistics.

The session will present an overview of different techniques that can be used for evaluating the originality of a digital picture in a forensic setting. Through several samples, we will explain the basic ideas for understanding if an image is a reliable source of evidence or it has been manipulated, and identifying the device used to generate that image.

See you there?
